I started my professional journey while still in college, working part-time at Reynolds and Reynolds as I pursued a degree in Management Information Systems. Originally a Computer Engineering major, I shifted paths to focus on solving practical, people-centered problems through technology. At Reynolds, I supported an enterprise ERP migration, gaining early exposure to system design legacy data challenges, while learning how cross-functional teams operate in the real world.

After graduation, I joined UES (later BlueHalo), where I worked as a product owner and analyst supporting government data-focused tools. My role's duties spanned requirements gathering, interface design, and hands-on testing for internal software used in Air Force research environments. These projects included secure file transfer systems, software request portals, and data visualization platforms, each with its own blend of technical, user, and compliance constraints. During this time, I earned certifications in both UI/UX design and as a Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I), formalizing my dual focus on user experience and Agile product management.

I became known for translating complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly solutions while coordinating across multiple teams to deliver functional, friendly, and secure outcomes. My contributions helped streamline critical tools used by researchers and data scientists, often navigating the tension between rigorous security requirements and real-world usability.

Through this progression, from technical support to cross-disciplinary project mangement, I’ve built a foundation in product creation rooted in collaboration, clarity, and adaptability.
