Scooter LaHonda started as a bedroom recording session between Annaline Van Luvender and Steven Willis in Winter 2022. Following turbulent changes in both individuals lives, the duo wrote an EP inspired by stories they would trade back and forth. "Pointless Nights, Toxic Days" is coated with punchy riffs, poignant lyrics, and lush electronics, delivering a sound that is emblematic of the midwest emo genre that inspires them. What started as a two piece project developed into a four person endeavor featuring Anthony Rapp on bass and vocals and Grant Phillips on drums and electronics.
The quartet spent the better part of 2025 refining their sound and finding their energy to create an engaging setlist. They've recently been seen playing live at: Belmont Billiards, South Park Tavern, The Hidden Gem, and The Spacebar. With more shows on the horizon, the group is looking to expand their reach and cut their teeth in the greater midwest area.
